Dr. Christopher Ryan Walker, DC, MUAC
Chiropractor
Born and raised in Arizona, Dr. Walker’s passion for sports and helping others led him to pursue a career in health care. After graduating from high school, he attended Arizona State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a focus on exercise science. During this time, he explored various avenues within health care and even emergency medical response. However, it was an unexpected back injury that ultimately guided him toward chiropractic care.
While working at a physical therapy clinic, Dr. Walker experienced the transformative power of chiropractic firsthand when his back pain was alleviated through treatment from a chiropractor. Intrigued by this holistic approach to health care, he pursued a career in chiropractic.
With extensive experience in multidisciplinary clinics, Dr. Walker is well-versed in providing comprehensive treatments, including chiropractic care, physiotherapy, and medical interventions. His diverse background includes athletic training, personal training, and hands-on experience as a physical therapy technician.
For Dr. Walker, the most rewarding aspect of being a chiropractor is witnessing patients regain their quality of life. Seeing individuals who have exhausted other options find relief and express their gratitude is the ultimate reward for him.
He believes in the power of chiropractic adjustments, emphasizing that the hands-on approach can yield remarkable results. However, Dr. Walker also recognizes the importance of being resourceful, employing additional techniques like physical therapy when necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Besides his chiropractic expertise, Dr. Walker holds certifications in pediatric chiropractic and the Webster Technique, which help support pregnant mothers by addressing back pain and optimizing baby positioning in the womb. He also possesses a certification in manipulation under anesthesia, enabling him to provide advanced care for conditions such as frozen shoulder and back pain.
Outside the practice, Dr. Walker cherishes spending time with his young children. While his focus is on family, he remains an avid golfer and hiker. Having played rugby during his time in chiropractic school, he enjoys sports and physical activity.
Sam Etienne, PA-C
Physician Associate
Sam Etienne is a highly experienced musculoskeletal specialist with a passion for helping patients improve their quality of life. He understands that every patient is unique and requires personalized care. That’s why he takes the time to listen and understand each patient’s individual needs and concerns. He works closely with Dr. Walker to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to their specific condition and goals
One of Sam’s areas of expertise is joint injections. He has years of extensive outpatient orthopedic training. Whether you are suffering from joint pain due to arthritis, injury, or other conditions, Sam has the knowledge and experience to provide you with the best possible care and results.
Dr. Suykerbuyk, Podiatrist
Chris Suykerbuyk, DPM, is a skilled podiatrist now providing mobile podiatry services for Triad. Specifically group homes and nursing homes for those that are unable to travel for care. He also has a private practice in Gilbert and has been caring for families and individuals in the Valley for over fifteen years.
Dr. Suykerbuyk received his undergraduate degree in biology from Hillsdale College in Michigan and his medical degree from The Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Illinois. He completed a residency in forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle surgery at the Carl T. Hayden VA in Phoenix, Arizona, and began practicing in Gilbert shortly thereafter.
Dr. Suykerbuyk maintains the highest levels of accreditation and pursues ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in the medical field. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is board certified in foot surgery. He specializes in sports injuries, arthroscopic repair, bunions, diabetic foot care, and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Suykerbuyk routinely treats patients for podiatric conditions such as bunions, hammer toe, heel pain, ingrown toenails, warts, and ankle sprains. He has quickly become a leader in the podiatric community for his innovative treatment options and friendly bedside manner.
